Streszczenie
Cystic fibrosis is the most common inherited genetic disease among Caucasians. Expression of the protein encoded by cystic fibrosis gene in many organs is responsible for various clinical manifestation. Severity of lung pathology influences morbidity and mortality the most. Pulmonary complications can happened at every age. Epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical symptoms, diagnosis and management of pneumothorax and haemoptysis in cystic fibrosis patients are discussed.
