Streszczenie
Apoptosis is a physiological process of programmed cell death necessary for maintaining intracellular homeostasis. In H pylori infection, apoptotic cell incidence increases from 3 to 16%. The factors causing apoptosis processes in H pylori infection are: virulence factors – VacA, CagA, liposaccharides LPS, monocyte activating peptide, ammonia, ureasis and proinflammatory cytokines.
There are numerous pathogenic router through which H. pylori bacterium induces apoptosis process in the gastric mucosa. In the course of the mitochondria pathway, which is one of them mitochondria proteins bcl-2/x are activated.
Another pathogenic router is a receptor mechanizm supported by EGFR receptor or a family of tumor necrosis factor receptors – TNFr including a membrane receptor CD95. The mechanisms of apoptosis should be taken into consideration in pediatric patients infected with H. pylori, because apoptosis in the inflammation of gastric mucosa may have important clinical implications.
