Streszczenie
The skin of infant differs anatomically as well as functionally from the adult´s skin and it requires proper nursering care. Incorrect application of cosmetics or unproper nursering care often lead to irritation of the skin and sickness changes. Neonatal dermatoses are specific and may cause diagnostic and therapeutic defficulties. This article deals with the most frequent(diaper dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, miliaria, milia, sebaceous gland hyperplasia, neonatal acne, erythema toxicum, atopic dermatitis) as well as seldom observed (granuloma gluteale infantum, nodular fat necrosis) neonatal cutaneus conditions. It is important to identify them correctly to avoid unnecessary diagnostic or therapeutic aggressive procedures.
