Streszczenie
The objective of the study was a comparative analysis of two somatometric characters in neonates of both sexes, born in consecutive decades from 1947 till 1997; the neonates came form Opole an nearby villages.
The material included 1840 neonates: 964 male and 876 female (tab. 1).
Mean values of the two charakters were significantly higher in female than male infants in all decades (tabs 2-3, figs 1-2).
