Summary
The induction to anaesthesia can be regarded as the most stressful moment in anaesthesiologists´ practice. The stress response depends of degree of experience, difficulty of a procedure and the occurrence of complications. Repeated exposures to stress can lead to the impairment of mental and physical condition of anaesthesiologists; the stress under which everyone has to work increases the risk of a critical incidences and decreases safety of anaesthesia.
