Streszczenie
Arthritis and others musculo-skeletal disorders are very common in adult human population. Community-based surveys have shown osteoarthritis to be the most common disorder, followed by other regional soft tissue disorders and rheumatoid arthritis. Although osteoarthritis and other rheumatic disorders are different diseases principles are common to all of them. Pharmacotherapy, patient education, weight control, physical exercise, cognitive behavioral strategies, assistive devices and surgery are used in many of these conditions.
