Streszczenie
The pourpose of the work is to show the relationship between the level of physical fitness and activity and health (length of life). The following aspects of physical fitness was discussed: circulatory and breathing endurance, strength and its variations and flexibility. The are numerous publications concerning the influence of physical activity on the human body. This influence is considered in connection with its morphological, functional, mental and social effects. In each of these areas there are a number of factors which could be analysed separately. For example, physical activity can improve the self-regulation systems of the human body (morpho-funcional aspect), it can decrease fear and depression (psycho-physical aspect), or increase social activity. The theory of health training deals with finding out optimum training loads which would have a positive influence on the human body. The work presents the author´s views on the relationship between the amount of physical effort and health.
It was stated, that the level of fitness is not so significant to health as the physical activity it self, in a recreational form.
