Streszczenie
The GGT activity was determined using gamma-glutamyl-alpha-naphthylamide as a substrate in the tissues of rats chronicly intoxicated by cadmium acetate and influenced by physical effort on the treadmill by the method described in the part I. Chronic cadmium acetate exposition evoked the the increase in the GGT activity in kidney (three – time) and in heart; the 50 percental decrease in the enzyme activity in liver and didn´t affected the enzyme activity in the rest of organa. The physical effort in rats intoxicated by cadmium induced further twice increase in activity in kidney and in heart muscle and 40 percental increase in brain tissue.
According to the obtained data and the earlier obtained results it is assumed, that in kidney – the organon with the highest activity of the GGT and ability of the cadmium deposition– the physical effort amplified the toxic effect induced in the course of cadmium intoxication. In this way the data about the increase in the free radical reactions in the rat kidney exposed to the detrimental factors are proved.
