Streszczenie
Clinical picture (symptoms, signs, lung function tests and radiologic abnormalities) are presented in the article according to new pathologic classification of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The role of histologic examination of lung biopsy specimens in precise diagnosis is stressed. Various pharmacologic regimens used in the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis are discussed.
