Streszczenie
Risedronate is a new bisphosphonate that can be administered orally in lower dosage than other antiresorptive bisphonate. Risendronate inhibited bone loss and improved tubercular architecture. The drag has shown efficacy in several metabolic bone disorder and appears to have low propensity to case gastrointestinal adverse events. This review describes the pharmacokinetics, mechanisms of action and safety of risedronate in the treatment of the osteoporosis.
