Streszczenie
3-D ultrasound seems to be a new method usefull in diagnostic procedures in obstetrics and gynaecology. It allows to perform the precise assessment of fetal anatomy and detection of congenital malformations. Also the imaging of female genital organs is more detailed due to three - dimensional ultrasound than in conventional sonography. The benefits concerning with this technique as well as possible disadventages are discussed below.
