Streszczenie
CMV is the most frequent congenital infection among newborns. About 1% of them develop symptoms of cytomegaly, such as hepatosplenomegaly, jaundince, petechiae, microcephaly, incranial calcifications and other neurological abnormalities. 90% of infected neonates have no symptoms of disease, but some of them develop neurological complications till the age of two years.
