Streszczenie
Abnormal fetal growth is often associated with adverse perinatal outcome. Maternal nutrition effects growth and development of the fetus. Pregnancy complicated with uteroplacental insufficiency, pregnancy-induced hypertension or metabolic disorders are at increased risk of inappropriate fetal weight gain. The possibilities of etiology and therapy are discussed below.
