Summary
Chronic prostatitis (ch., p,) remains a very serious clinical and social problem. The diagnosis is difficult and the treatment regimens are not always successful. As the clinical presentation of the disease varies widely among patient, chronic prostatitis can remain unnoticed for a long time. Treatment methods that have been used so far have not been satisfactory both in clinical and microbiological aspect. Different complications and long course cause, besides urologists, treatment its problems absorbing andrologists, seksuologists and psychiatrists.
