Summary
Osteoarthritis and mainly knee osteoarthritis are the most common chronic diseases that causes of physical disability. The article represents a summary of the current status of clinical aspects of knee osteoarthritis. Special attention was paid to diagnostic criteria, pharmacological and nonpharmacological medical management. Epidemiology, risk factors and radiographic imaging are also described.
