Streszczenie
Concern have been raised about professions hazardous to human health. The physical stress is an obvious risk factor, especially on the position of command. The second main risk factor is an occupational exposure to toxic agents, connected with adverse human health effect. A particular risk is associated with toxicological effect of lead, copper and zink. A serious threat to health comes also from an occupational exposure to asbestos as well as from exposure to some kinds of dustes e.g. silicon, mine or cement dust. Vapours of metallic mercury are known to be another occupational toxic agent.
