Evaluation of Pro- and Anti-Salubrious Behaviour By Polish schools From Lvow in Ukraine.
Results of investigation on salubrious behaviour of different social and professional groups can be used as basis for planning health promoting policy and creating educational programmes. Results presented in this paper come from investigation carried out in the years 1996-1997. They included 300 girls and boys, aged 12-17 years. The method used was a diagnostic survey that made use of the international questionnaire technique, adopted by prof. B. Woynarowska. Our resultats indicate that children from polish schools in Ukraine have unappropriate situation regarding daily diet (diet low in fruit, vagetables and small amounts of meals). Moreover, the children start to use tobacco and alcohol early. Information about physical condition as well as physical performance of children from polish schools in Ukraine was also obtained.
