Streszczenie
Metabolic and hormonal effects of oral contraception are disccused. These effects, including lipoproteins and carbohydrate metabolism, coagulation system may influance the risk of cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, venous thrombosis, stroke and myocardial infarction as well as diabetes mellitus. The incidence of neoplasia in oral contraception users is also disccused.
