Streszczenie
In situations when preterm delivery should considered because of fetal or maternal reasons, accurate prediction of fetal lung maturity could permit safe delivery. Current tests used for the assessment of fetal lung maturity can be classified into three groups: 1-those that monitor one or several phospholipid components of surfactant, 2-those that monitor lameller body number density, 3-those that monitor some physicochemical properties of surfactant.
