Streszczenie
Because of the higher risk of congenital anomalies of the fetus in case of pregnancy complicated by diabetes than in general population the most important data concerning that problem are discussed in the article below. There is the review of factors causing various malformations as well as the description of failures most often found in fetuses from diabetic mothers. Also the possibilities of prenatal diagnosis of such congenital anomalies are analyzed.
