Ganglioneuroblastoma – guz śródpiersia tylnego u 2,5-letniego chłopca

Streszczenie
A boy aged 2.5 years was diagnosed with a posterior mediastinal tumour. The clinical picture of the disease with increased indicators of inflammation and imaging studies suggested a diagnosis of posterior mediastinal abscess, which was not confirmed intraoperatively. On the basis of a histopathological examination of the removed tumour and increased level of catecholamines in a 24-hour urine collection the final diagnosis was determined – ganglioneuroblastoma.
