Streszczenie
Summary
Kerathoacanthoma is a common benign squamosus neoplasm that is characterised by rapid growth and spontaneus involution. These lesions usually present as solitary, dome-shaped, skin-coloured papules with a central keratinous core descriptively referred to as a „volcano”. The cause of keratoacanthoma is unclear; however, suspected causes include ultraviolet light, genetic factors, immunosupresion, chemical carcinogens, viruses and trauma.
