Summary
Verrucous carcinomas of the skin and mucosa represent rare variants of squamous cell carcinoma. They preferentially develop on urogenital mucosa, oropharyngeal mucosa, soles of the feet and also they may be observed everywhere on the skin. We stress difficulties in clinical and histological recognition and present some methods of treatment.
