Summary
Cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma is the second most common skin cancer and in many countries, its incidence is rising. Identification and avoidance of risk factors are needed to stop this increasing trend. Additionally, early diagnosis and treatment are needed to decrease the number of deaths due to skin cancer because prognosis improves when lesions are detected early. In this article, risk factors, clinical and histological forms of SCC and present possibilities of treating them have been presented.
